Have you given up on having AG replace her head or finding one? I bet if you wait a little while a nice one will pop up on ebay, or you can save enough to get an AG head replacement.

Ah well... I'm still pondering the possibility that I won't get a head and will just replace a wig. I don't want to use the once aussiemum gave me because it's an authentic wig on a non-authentic head.
It would be a bad waste of such a nice wig

I would definitely not get a human hair wig. Synthetic will stay nice a lot longer. When my mom had cancer, she was advised to stay away from natural fiber wigs, because they are way too delicate, and of course the hair won't grow back!

Also, you might wish to stay away from wigs with the color "black." Dark brown wigs look black. My Hispanic Bitty Baby has a dark brown wig, and it looks black. Black in wig fibers is usually a very harsh, completely black color, whereas dark brown is usually a black color with at least some highlighting or warm tones. I've never seen anyone with black-black hair like a black wig has, other than someone who I knew dyed her hair.

So with these two things in mind, I really like the first one better.
